Supervised Clinical Hours

Students must achieve 400 clinical hours in order to graduate. Twenty-five clinical observation hours must be earned before students are allowed to begin their first clinical experience. Three hundred and seventy-five of the 400 clinical hours must be of supervised clinical practice (with at least 325 hours at the graduate level) which must be completed as part of the program. 

Students must keep an ongoing record of their clinical hours. All clinicial hours must be entered into Exxat throughout the semester as required by your supervisor(s).  

During each clinical experience, supervisors will evaluate student performance at the midterm and final. Supervisors are looking at many clinical skills, including the evaluation process and what is expected of the student clinician.
