Licensure requirements vary from state to state:
NJ State Info (from ASHA): https://www.asha.org/advocacy/state/info/NJ/ and/or https://www.asha.org/certification/
The requirements for a license in speech-language pathology are:
A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
375 supervised clinical hours, preceded by 25 observation hours (total = 400 hours)
Completion of an Internship year, and
A score of at least 162 on the Praxis Specialty Exam in SLP
These requirements are a direct reflection of the standards used by ASHA. Therefore, when you meet the requirements for licensure in New Jersey, you also meet the requirements for your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in SLP issued by ASHA.
